Following in the steps of Dick Whittington
24 students from Year 10 Business attended the annual Whittington course. The course enabled students to visit iconic London landmarks like Canary Wharf and the Guildhall and hear from young professionals in Barclays talk about their experiences in the world of work.
At lunch students had the opportunity to discuss career aspirations with top graduates in their areas of interest. One of the highlights was a visit to Wood Street Police Station - the headquarters of the City of London Police, where students were given an insight into some of the more exciting aspects of how the police operate.
A great day was had by students and teachers alike. We are looking forward to next year already!
