Sports Premium

From September 2013 each school received extra sports funding through Sports Pupil Premium. In our school this amount is £8000 plus £5 per 5–11 year old pupil. We intend to use the money to improve the teaching and learning of physical education whilst increasing confidence in the delivery of the teaching of PE amongst staff. We want to increase our pupils’ participation of physical activity in and outside of school whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle. We feel that this is the most effective way for the funding to have a long lasting and positive effect on the development of high quality physical education for the children in our school.
