Our aim is to provide an excellent education for our students, ensuring that all have the opportunity to reach their full academic, personal and social potential.

 

To achieve this we will:-

• Commit to provide outstanding teaching and learning in all lessons, carefully monitoring the standards we achieve

• Develop confident, disciplined and enquiring learners who are able to make informed choices and make a significant contribution to society

• Foster a love of learning and ensure all our students have the chance to succeed

•  Promote a positive and aspirational culture, based on an expectation of high standards of work and behaviour at all times

• Offer a broad, balanced, diverse and challenging curriculum and extend learning through a wide range of extracurricular experiences, that recognises that children are individuals and have different needs

•  Develop opportunities for our students to take responsibility, drive change, support and lead others, encouraging our students to be independent and have high self-esteem

•  Provide a safe and happy workplace that celebrates the diversity of our pupils’ cultural backgrounds  and encourages understanding and mutual respect for all members of the school community irrespective of gender, race, faith, language, ability, sexual orientation or social class

•  Embrace links with the wider community and provide experiences beyond the school environment to enrich and enhance the children’s education

• Promote a thoughtful attitude towards the immediate and wider environment

• Work to achieve a good working relationship between children, parents, governors and staff

• Celebrate and reward success and achievement
