Secondary Theatre Performances
Thursday, December 14, 2006

Secondary students have been informed and entertained by a number of visiting theatre companies. Year 7 students watched QUIT a very entertaining and informative performance which highlighted the dangers of smoking. The aim of performance was to enable the students to make informed choices of their own and not give in to peer pressure.
Channel Theatre Company presented their thought-provoking, anti-racism production, Warning Fire, to our Years 7,8 & 9 students. The performance was based on research gathered from Bexley secondary schools and included contributions from Year 10 students at The Business Academy.
Smart Risk Heroes, a very up-beat production, explored the issue of taking risks in life whilst keeping oneself as safe as possible.
Academy students were congratulated on their enthusiasm, interest and behaviour by each of the visiting groups.
