Visit by Councillor Mabel

Bexley Councillor and School Governor Mabel Ogundayo met with some of the primary school councillors to talk about what makes a good councillor and how elections are run. The council talked about the value of democracy and how to make the elections fair.   They made some decisions about the elections, deciding that  good attendance and behaviour should be a factor in who can be eligible to be elected and whether the teacher should have a weighted vote. We will soon be voting for a new school council and look forward to meeting with Councillor Mabel again to talk about how the council can have a voice and make a difference in the school.
