Red House goes Green!

Last term a group of students left the warm academy building each Friday during tutor time and put on a high viz jacket and picked up a litter picker, they weren’t in trouble they were the Red House team taking part in a new initiative to take care of the environment. The 20 strong students split into pairs and divided into two teams, one half went to pick up rubbish along the walk way to stage 10 shops and the other half walked to Emmanuel church clearing bushes and pathways of litter.

This term the team are focusing on the main hedge row alongside the secondary school by the pedestrian entrance, if you see us, stop and say hello!
